Who We Are
Northline Intelligence is a human-centered AI systems consultancy. We work with leaders who recognize that AI is not just a technology decision, but an organizational one — shaping how people work, how decisions are made, and how systems hold together under pressure.
Our belief is simple: AI amplifies what already exists. When systems are unclear or misaligned, automation creates friction. When people, processes, and strategy are aligned, AI becomes leverage. That’s why our work starts with clarity — not tools — and treats readiness as a practice, not a project.
We partner with organizations at different stages of growth and scale to design AI systems that strengthen operations rather than disrupt them. Through strategy, enablement, and thoughtful implementation, we help teams move forward with confidence, purpose, and long-term sustainability.
About
Josh Decker
Principal Ai Strategist
I didn’t begin my career in AI. I began it close to people — in talent acquisition and customer success — working alongside teams as they hired, adapted, and tried to do meaningful work in changing environments. Later, as a program manager focused on go-to-market initiatives, my role became translating strategy into action and helping organizations adopt new systems without losing momentum or trust.
When AI and automation entered the picture, I saw something familiar: excitement mixed with uncertainty. Leaders weren’t resisting change — they were trying to protect what worked. Through experimentation, missteps, and real progress, it became clear that AI doesn’t succeed because it’s powerful; it succeeds when people are ready. Without clarity, automation accelerates confusion. With alignment, it becomes leverage.
Northline was built for the leaders standing where I once stood — curious, cautious, and responsible for getting it right. Some are already exploring AI. Others are still on the dock, unsure when or how to step forward. My work exists to meet them there, helping organizations move with intention, build trust in their systems, and adopt AI in ways that strengthen how people work together. Because progress doesn’t start with technology — it starts with clarity.
